Eccleshill Retail Park, Bradford.
Formed as a joint venture with Opus North this development required the acquisition of the old Union Mill in Eccleshill, the careful demolition and restructuring of the site.
The total site area is 5.55 Acres (2,24 Hectares) with a pre-sale to Lidl of 2.19 Acres for almost 25,000 square feet of retail space with 230 shared parking spaces – this has been successfully trading since July 2021.
A second phase saw the development of 2 retail units let and sold before completion with Starbucks as the anchor.
A pre-let has been agreed with Burger King for a drive-thru unit at the entrance of the site which will be operational from Early 2024.
The remainder of the site has been designated for 5 commercial units, 2 have been pre-let to Tool Station and Screw Fix with negotiations ongoing with Howdens for a third unit – development will commence in 2024.
Hollins Road, Walsden
A perfectly placed residential site of 3.81 Acres (1.54 Hectares) with excellent transport links for both Leeds and Manchester, allocated as primary housing in the local UDP.
Plans are currently being drawn up for a development of 36 houses which will be ready for a pre-application submission to the local planning office in early 2024.
A decision has yet to be made whether we will develop these ourselves, enter into a joint venture arrangement or allow a major housebuilder to take the site to fruition.
Seamer Road, Scarborough
A site of 6 Acres (2.4 Hectares) accessed directly from the main A64 road into Scarborough, adjacent to the park and ride.
We are in negotiations with local Councillors and Planners to develop this site to create much needed employment in the area and due to recent changes in both the local Authorities and Central Government policies we feel now is the time to take this site forward.
We have employed the services of a well respected team of planning consultants who are negotiating with the local authorities on our behalf.
